     About the Role     

As a Plumbing Helper, you will work alongside experienced plumbers and technicians to assist with plumbing repairs, installations, maintenance, and projects. This is an entry-level position designed to provide hands-on training and real-world experience while building a foundation for a successful career in the plumbing industry.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting plumbers with service calls, repairs, and installations

  • Carrying tools, materials, and equipment to job sites

  • Digging trenches and assisting with excavation work

  • Loading and unloading materials and equipment

  • Assisting with drain cleaning, fixture installations, and plumbing repairs

  • Cleaning and organizing job sites

  • Maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment

  • Learning plumbing systems, materials, and industry best practices

  • Following company safety procedures and policies

  • Completing tasks as assigned by lead technicians and supervisors

This position offers exposure to a wide variety of plumbing work, including commercial service, residential service, apartment communities, restaurants, retail centers, and construction projects. Every day provides an opportunity to learn new skills and gain valuable experience.


This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and wants to build a long-term career in the skilled trades. We are committed to helping motivated individuals develop the skills needed to advance within our company and the plumbing industry. 

This position is primarily field-based and involves traveling to commercial and residential job sites throughout the Greater Charlotte area. Work environments may include apartment communities, restaurants, retail centers, office buildings, healthcare facilities, industrial facilities, and residential homes.

Plumbing Helpers work directly alongside experienced plumbers and technicians in a hands-on environment. The position requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, climbing ladders, digging, carrying materials, and working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

     Requirements     

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

  • Valid driver's license preferred

  • Ability to work well with others as part of a team

  • Ability to follow instructions and learn new skills

  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor

  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Ability to use basic hand tools or willingness to learn

  • Strong communication and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous construction, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, landscaping, or general labor experience

  • Experience using hand and power tools

  • Interest in building a long-term career in the plumbing trade

No plumbing experience is required. We are willing to train the right candidate who is motivated, dependable, and eager to learn.
