About the Role
As a Plumbing Technician, you will diagnose, repair, install, and maintain plumbing systems for commercial and residential customers throughout the Greater Charlotte area. This role offers a wide variety of work that will challenge your skills and provide opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities include:
Diagnosing and repairing leaks, water lines, faucets, toilets, and plumbing systems
Performing drain cleaning on sinks, tubs, floor drains, and main sewer lines
Installing and servicing water heaters, including gas, electric, tankless, and commercial units
Repairing and installing plumbing fixtures such as toilets, faucets, disposals, and commercial fixtures
Servicing pump systems including sump pumps, sewage ejector pumps, and lift stations
Assisting with remodels, renovations, and rough-in plumbing installations
Performing gas line repairs and installations
Completing accurate job documentation, notes, and photos
Maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment
Following company safety procedures and policies
Participating in an on-call rotation as scheduled
We are looking for technicians who can diagnose problems, provide solutions, and deliver exceptional customer service while representing our company professionally.
This position is primarily field-based and involves traveling to commercial and residential job sites throughout the Greater Charlotte area. Work may take place in apartment communities, restaurants, retail centers, office buildings, healthcare facilities, industrial properties, and residential homes.
Technicians work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and may be required to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of plumbing experience (commercial, residential, or both)
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Ability to communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and office staff
Ability to work independently and manage daily job assignments
Strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor
Experience using smartphones and mobile applications for job documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
North Carolina plumbing license
Backflow certification
Commercial plumbing experience
Experience with drain cleaning, sewer diagnostics, and pump systems
